December has almost gone with the wind

The long waited DEC school holiday is gonna end soon in no time. It had been a real roller coaster ride with many changes happening in my life. But I am glad everything is taking their places and settling down. And in this festive month of joy, me and my loved ones celebrates in good health.

But I am still not feeling very holiday yet cause 2 more deployment weeks. Hmmm... I am so looking forward and desperate for the "Alone" "Me" time!

Xmas is around the corner, not doing much christmas shopping these days.. just wanna laze around and let the christmas season go pass me. But I do wish to get a Xmas tree, still thinking about it. The Xmas tree will feel really pathetic cause we are not home most of the time to admire it. Let see.

Weather is good this morning

I like waking up early between 9-10am in the morning on weekends. Especially when the sun is out and yet not so sunny. Sometimes Mr. breeze come by to act that little special touch to my weekend morning. I like to work, do my personal stuff and enjoy some ME time during these hours. With a cup hot coffee, some wafer biscuits... this is what keep me sane after a whole week of busy work schedules.

Today is going to be a happy day cause weather is exceptionally good. So let's do some shopping for xmas pressie making.

How can I resist

These papers from Lily Bee latest collection - Head over heels are simply too sweet to resist. It had been a while I last do SB shopping since I thought I am not scrapping much these days, it's wiser not to stock up further until I clear most of my current stash. Last Friday, I thought I should check out what's hot and in town and o.WOW... so many pretty things. I am definitely missing a lot of those good stuff. And when I see these Lily Bee paper, I hesitate for a while and I just got to get my hands on them. Pink, Orange with Turquoise - Perfect colour combination. I love working with cheery colours, they makes me happy. I got them and I can't wait, made them over the weekend.

Vola.. A little happy journal for my wedding actual days photos. And so delighted that I get to clear some stash at the same time.

On a side note, I have not been obedient and diligent to keep up with this space. I missed those days when I get all excited to blog something and read what other friends are doing over at blogger. Maybe FB had slowly replaced this when it's so convenient if you are carrying an iPhone.

My knee had been giving me problems lately. Since last couple of months, when I started my training for the upcoming Standard Chartered Marathon, I knew my knee was giving way cause of the long distance training every other day. But I didn't expect it to get this bad until I experience sharp pain for the past 2 weeks. And the triggering point when I decided I need to do something was when I couldn't wear my trousers, shoes and socks anymore and Mark got to wear it for me. So I went for a Xray last Thursday and I was shocked and confused when my Xray shows that I had develop Osteoarthritis. It's a big word for me and I couldn't react to it.

And after much research, it get worst cause I realised and had started to experience the symptoms of Osteoarthritis. My right joint is stiff, in locking position at times. And cause my body is accommodating to the inability of my joint, my thigh muscles, hamstring are overworked. And I have problems walking fast with ease, going up/down stairs are huge issues. I was really demoralised and I am not happy about it at all.

I am still adapting to the fact that this is affecting my lifestyle, no more running for sure, no more heels and long hours shopping. And I am not prepare about what to expect and how worst it going to eat into my life. 1 issue I forsee is getting pregnant and putting on weight cause its going to worsen my joint condition.

Too many doubts and appointment to the TTSH specialist is only scheduled to be next year Jan.

Sigh.. I wish school holidays come sooner so I can rest more.

Finally did something with my actual day wedding photos. And the first to start with is no others than my beloved family.

Grandmum looking extremly happy and pleased on my wedding day, have not see her smile this wide for very long. And Mum looked really young and pretty. For once, I actually think she is quite gorgeous. HaHa. And Ginger boy, although he was not feeling very well on that day but he still look dashing and smart in his "Liverpool doggy jersey". I am missing them all already...

Can't wait to see them this sunday.

Agnes, my bestie is getting married to her charming man this saturday. I very much would like to attend their wedding and seriously how can I miss out celebrating this once in a lifetime joy with her? But unfortunately I can't due to the chinese tradition where newly wed couples are not to attend any weddings in 3 mths before and after wedding. Sulk :( I am definitely feeling upset about it!

So I can only send my love with these handmade wedding gifts. Wishing her and YK 辛福快了!

It's almost a month since I last updated this little space of mine. I am kinda of worried whether if I am slowly losing the love and interest for this space which I created 2 years ago for the love of scrapbooking. Despite that I have the thought to keep it going occasionally, I wasn't determine to do so. Most of time, I am too busy to do so and sometimes I just didn't feel like doing it. And I am wondering maybe less and lesser friends are reading it. Feeling terribly sorry about it.

I probably need to change the whole mindset about blogging. Maybe not so much of scrapbooking stuff but for myself and my thoughts. Maybe I can keep it going still even if I am not exactly doing much scrapbooking except for classes and for friends.

So yup, a brand new look to this space and hopefully it spikes me a little.

Some sneaks for classes at Paper Crafts Garden. (I haven't talk much about this new scrapbooking shop I worked in but trust me, is a people place and you will like the amount of space you have as much as feeling warmth at home. Not much glitz and glamour, more like a casual place to get together and feel being at home. So drop by when you are free)

A whole new beginning...

The past weeks were horrendous busy weeks for me. Wedding preparation cum handling some emotions setbacks, almost can't breathe. Now that the wedding ceremony was over, I am official Mrs. now, and my pet doggie has kinda of stablise his medical condition, it's a brand new start for me.

Is quite a challenge actually to adapt to marriage life, cause afterall is no longer a 1 person life, alot of considerations for both hubby and wifey. Plus taking care of our new nest, it can be quite tiring for a working woman especially with teaching in school and SB. I am adjusting and hopefully I survive through.

School has just started and I am already looking forward to the year end holiday. Can't wait to rest and relax as I seriously need it after many months of hetic schedule. But it takes a while to sink in the school schedules and routine before I can get it over and done with. So counting down to 10 weeks school terms. Afterall I still couldn't get enough of the late night sleeping and luxury to wake up late in the evening from the just over 1 week holiday. Managed to catch some nice movie over iPhone.. So shiok to watch free movies on handy gadget.

And guess what I am updating the blog now using my newly discovered Blogger iPhone app. Hopefully it helps me to update this little space of mine more often since it's on the go now.

SB classes for me is starting soon. Yes! I am teaching again. Is at the new SB stall Paper Craft Garden located at Suntec mall. Right above Carrefour at level 3. Will update class schedule and more details soon :)

Initially I wasn't feeling much excited about the wedding. I was rather stressed up and feeling all worried about the home reno and wedding prep. Now that I am 3 weeks away from my big day.. honestly speaking.. I am getting a little nervous! and excited all over it! I am glad I felt this way else I will become a abnormal bride isn't it..haha

I am so getting myself ready for the big day now. And now that alot more stuff are settle (the packing and cleaning up of new place, the wedding prep...) I can afford to rest more and look pretty.

Missing everyone

I knew I had been neglecting this blog for a very long while. Sometimes I wonder if that happens to every scrappers or bloggers? After a while, things just goes slow or even very slow...

On the other hand, I was really busy. Busy with my new place, cleaning, packing and shifting stuff till wee hours. Thank GOD that I am doing it together with my lovely hubby. Am thankful that he is helping with the clean up. Mum rope in to help out too. But well, still a long way to go

Prior to the busy cleaning schedule, I was busy training for my marathon in year end. It's a good feeling to be able to run again (for long distance) and sweat it all out. I am not a addictive runner actually, not very into running too but I am addicted to the feeling of running and pushing myself for a longer distance and enduring the whole running journey physically and mentally. Is a push to myself. Feel real good with the pounding heart and tired legs. It reminds me life is still far ahead.

But! I got to stop running now.. haha cause I injured myself. So morale of the story is, you injured yourself when you push yourself too hard. ooops..

Ok, got to go. Try to drop by more often. And I really missed everyone.. have no time to read blogs too.. hope you guys are doing well.

I feel really lousy at this point in time.

I actually had this blog post drafted last week as "Explore" cause I was really excited about exploring some fun SB projects. But now that I finally managed to get photo-bucket working and upload my photos, I decided to change the blog post to "I feel really lousy at this point in time" for my best friend lost his father on wednesday night.

And It means alot to me for paying this loving father my last respect. I remember how I used to run around in their house premises and eat with the family and my best pal. And I want to be there for my best childhood friend whenever she cries and remember her beloved father and hug me when she needed comfort and security. But I couldn't make it there because my wedding date is in less than 3mths time.

Frankly speaking, I did consider hard, real hard about breaking the taboos and go right to the wake last night. But I need to be responsible for my the other half family who are non-christian, isn't it? I am devastated.

I hate the feeling that I can only sit and wait and for time to go past.

I really wish to be there.

I just realised I haven't been blogging for almost a month...

But oh mine, it's for good reason cause

1. I am truly enjoying my whole June holiday, resting and rejuvenating so I am not exactly scrapping nor blogging

2. I was and still very busy with my bird nest, house is currently under renovations. 50% done and will be ready for move in before the lunar 7th month! Yippee.. It's a joy to watch how our little bird nest is being built. I must say this portion is more enjoyable than the wedding preparations.

3. Wedding stuff mostly done, except for some details to be finalise

4. All ready for school re-open will most of the lesson plans and SOW done.

5. Last but not least, I spend alot of Fun time with friends and collgs during the break

So now school has re-opened, I better get my butt moving. Am working on a few scrap projects now. Body aching after a long day of scrapping these days...

Taking a break this holiday

Thank goodness that June holiday is approaching. All of us (teachers) are really burnt out. Although we are still call back for deployment but its still a "get-away" for us. That's very important to keep our sanity.

I am especially looking forward to this June Holiday as I will be taking a break from SB teaching as well. I am officially not teaching SB for a while, taking a break from everything and give myself a really good treat to "freedom". Of course I will be teaching again, but I shall reveal the details later.

June is also a crucial month for me for I need to finalise all the nitty gritty wedding details and home reno. When the next school term hits, I wont have that much of time for wedding preparations and home shifting at the same time.

This mother's day ended up a daughter's day cause mum was super lovely, she decided to get 1 iPAD2 for herself and 1 for me. Yipeee! I always wanted an iPAD cause I think is super cool to watch my youtubes and videos on iPAD. Whats more, games on a big screen will be more fun.. (haha, I think la). This is the very first "expensive" pressie from mummie. Love you mummie.

So I am being rewarded finally for being such a nice daughter. (hee hee)

See, we supposed to go trekking on labor day but ended up having porridge due to wet weather. But eventually we got to workout cause I signed her and myself up for AMORE fitness. Haha, weight-loss craze in preparation for my wedding. (Yeh, she wants to look slim too cause she is the mother of the bride)

We had fun spending some quality time together, just me and her.

Tonight sermon was powerful. GOD remain faithful and assure my every single uncertainties. I don't go church often, but each time I return to the house of LORD, his words never failed to impact me and my life.

Tonight, I came to realise, many things are beyond my control. I need to continue believe in HIM and immerse myself in his words. Do not be discourage and dishearten.

Miracle do happen if you believe in him.

My tired heart has been healed.

To my 2 beloved friends, I love both of you and 2 nats... miracle will happen cause I believe.

It has been an emotional ride for me and my friends for the past 1 week. Traveling in and out of the hospital is definitely tiring but thats not even a percent compare to the pain and emotional struggles V and N are going through.

Thanks to many close friends, collgs and family members who sent me their comfort and words of wisdom... It was very nice of them to pray for my friends and feel heartache on behalf of them even though they were unaware exactly who I am mentioning about. Despite how we prayed, miracle didn't happen, I am thankful for the little hope they shared with me and my 2 beloved friends.

Alot of reflections going on in my body and soul, since I am not able to find an answer within myself, I decided to seek peace, trust and faith in GOD. I am going back "home" after a long lost journey.

Today, I will be helping out in CDT at voluntary session, we are making Mother's Day card. Hereby wishing all mothers in the world a very delightful and a Happy Mother's Day.

Feeling good ...

Thanks to all encouragements.. It make me goes on...

Am feeling good lately, spending alot of ME time with my loved ones.

Had a sumptuous afternoon lunch with my hubby at Putien on good friday. It's my first time dinning there and I must say the food taste really good.

And then, we had 豆花 at geylang with veggie and nicole. Went Mustafa for some window shopping. HaHa but veggie bought a $113 casio watch. Lik that also can.

On sat, I went for my sat voluntary session. It's a nice feeling to see the same old faces again. Only difference is I feel a little detached after the long MIA. Well, next week, I will be conducting CDT, maybe I will feel better. At night, veggie and nicole and us had a simple dinner at Hans along Thomson road. The boys wanted to watch soccer, so the girls ended up tagging along. And we had DURIANs!!! at the seletar water dam. Is a place we used to frequent during our school days. Is so fun to return to the place and had durians by the resevoir. haha.

On Sun, Nicole decided to cook us a nice dinner. So we spent the whole night watching TV together and enjoyed good food.

And, last but not least.... I scrapped...

Taking a short break

You may have noticed that I am not scrapping as often as I always have (every other day). I am kinda of taking a breather from scrapping. Let my mind, body and soul wander a bit.

I was really exhausted with the fact that I am rushing from places to places to teach, my weekends are burnt, my body is tired. And a matter of fact, I made this choice and I have no one to blame. All I needed was more $$ for house reno and wedding. Maybe like they say, 是社会的错. I come to a point thinking I should just empty all my scrap drawers, baskets and selves. Throw all of them away and take it like I have never start this before, pick up a book and continue enjoy reading and listening to music.

I guess I went nuts!

I have been thinking a lot about this scrapping thing lately, and I feel I just needed a break, a short one enough for me to figure what need to be done and what I am going to do.

So pardon me for not having many to share.

So I have taken like a 2 weeks break so far, not creating much.. and I should be taking another 2 weeks more.. just to refresh my ideas and get all new creative again.

Meanwhile, I spend more time with my hubby and friends over the weekend. We checked out more places than any time before. Is a good feeling to feel I am going dating again.

I had my hair permed and I want to look pretty. Is a look good, feel good factor. So I am feeling a lot better.

For the big day ...

My heartfelt gratitude for friends who care and have been showing concerns and encouragements to my upcoming big day.

A little update for everyone. The date is firm. 4th Sept will be the day. It kinda of meaningful to both myself and mark as our anniversary date falls on the 4th as well. It will be exactly 4yrs and 6mths we will be together on our wedding day.

Solemnization cum a mini celebration will be held at The Art House - Blue Room. A beautiful place which I totally heart. Is a dream come through to have a british colonel style wedding.

Color theme will be these. Goes with Making Memories Jet'Adore series. Am using it for the wedding invitation cards, guestbook, canvas, albums and display pieces for the recept.

Am planning to cut down carbo and hopefully I get to slim down. Will be nice if I can make a nice evening dress that matches the color theme for the solemnization :) evil grinz.

So much updates for now.

Shiok!

Shiok! Weekend has never been more enjoyable than this one that had recently passed. Did 2 LO and a album! I have never been scrapping for myself much ever since I started teaching SB. The feeling is really good to be able to scrap JUST FOR MYSELF and my love ones.

*I super loved this crate collection! I forcefully placed 3 packets of chipboards on my LO. haha. Who cares! Is very POW WOW style. Suddenly I think of Pooi Pooi.

*Did a LO for a great teacher and a great friend. She will be on sabbatical leave from next month onwards. I will surely miss her for she is such an inspiring figure to me.

Over the weekend, not only I spend some time to distress myself, I got to went on a HOT date with my hubby as well. Although we are not the very lovey dovey type anymore but the feeling of going on a date again was really refreshing.

We spent some time with our BFFs too. Still chatting about my wedding prep, but is so good to pour all sorrows with someone you really trust.

Suddenly I feel I am living again. And I want to live again.

Heart desire but mind and body are weak

Sorry sorry guys, I know that I had greatly neglected this little space of mine. I wish I could update something earlier but I had been really tied up. And I wish I have time to hop by my friends blogs. Well...

With my super not shiok and rushed BKK holiday trip, I was not in any mood this round to take any photos. Mark was coughing his way throughout the holiday and I caught a cold afterwhich as well. This is the only one which I think is really scrapbook like.. so I took a photo with it.

Came back Sin and celebrated Grandmum's 80th birthday. So happy to get together with uncles, aunties and cousins to celebrate this special moment with my beloved Grandmum. I loved her!

And then I got busy with the wedding preparation. HDB, Wedding venue, the florist, photography, make-up artist, home reno loan, furniture, etc. Argh!! so much so much. Everyone around me is asking me to rest more so I will look beautiful on my wedding day but frankly.. I don't see how enjoyable this whole process is, so rest is secondary.

Anyway, so much for now. I can't wait to start my running routine and wed Mc Ritchie run with PS, Meet up with Yin on Fri and BFF on Mon.

"Real" friends are hard to come by ...

I meet alot of new people these days, especially when there is a change of new working environments. I see them, I talk to them and I spend time with them.. Through the short days, there are many happenings.. and I begin to wonder are these friends staying by your side for long? I begin to miss alot of my "real" friends. I miss their sincerity, their genuine soul and their hearts which are always kind. Although we have alot of difference in many ways but we have common values, that I must say, I really thank GOD for sending them into my life.

Last weekend was Agnes, my bestie, ROM. Attended her little celebration @ 1 degree 15. Food and ambience was nothing important to me, what's importance is, me being there to gave her my blessing together with other besties.

Congrats Agnes and YK.

And I miss Yin so much, I can't wait to meet her next friday before she leave for Germany. And wait till PS is back from Europe, I am gonna spend some "US" time together as well. Miss LP and BL too, soon we will be meeting. So many catching up to do.

Yes! Yes! I finally get to work with Leena and Irene again. They are just so amazing and lovely people and I have always been a great fan of their works. This is absolutely gorgeous! and I am so damn lucky to get my hands on it before the LSS bring them in. Thanks AR for giving me this opportunity to work with this lovely Bo Bunny - Gabrielle series of papers. Totally awesome! Butterflies!!!! and is rather unusual to see Bo Bunny come up with such line. But anyway I totally loving it. I am creating another set of wedding class using it. Stay tune for AR's April schedule.

Counting my blessings

GOD indeed has been merciful to me. He has provided me with many good things, kind people and beautiful happiness in life. He has also empowered me with many wisdom and courage to deal with changes when needed. And seriously when I first joined the Special Ed, it was with good faith and heart for the children. Indeed, the journey has been smooth sailing thus far. I must thank GOD for he sees my needs and helps me to tie through difficulties in this whole process of changes and making it alot less difficult for me. Not only did he make up my loses, he equips me with all the opportunities and knowledge so that I can serve my children in school in a even better and more structured manner.

With a brand new year ahead, I am being deployed as the form teacher of my class which I worked with last year. This is a wonderful experience as I get to work with the same group of children with a much longer period of time and this really helps in enforcing the behaviour teaching. And I get to witness the changes in them in my own hands. Is a taste of success for me and it's heart warming to actually witness the good changes which you play a part in.

Shortly with that deployment, I am being nominated to take the Certification in Autism. I must say I am blessed because chances just come pouring my way. I gladly take up knowing how beneficial it is for me and my children despite of my busy schedules.

And not recent ago, I am being nominated to take the NIE dip in special ed. I wanted this really badly as I know, it is not only going to help me benefits the children more but also an enriching stepping stone for my teaching career. Is part of nurturing my well being not so much of climbing the ladder and such.

But I am at the cross junction now. As the course will take me 2 years to complete in conjunction to my teaching. It is going to be tough especially when I am dying to have my first child planning right after my marriage. I always think I am a superwoman, doing many things at 1 go and achieving it. But I am not sure if I want to risk this. The amount of work and stress may affect the pregnancy and whether there are any complications are still to be considered.

Am I going to take this by faith again?

Brought Mum and Grandmum to watch 大世界 today. Grandmum had fun indeed, she was grinning all the way. Haha, it's interesting to know that Grandmum and Grandpa used to paktor at this tree at 大世界, with all love msgs engraved on the tree trunk. I am glad the show brought back her some fond old memories.

*Grandmum ate alot of sweet popcorns too. haha :D

This is for Scraplicious advance class. And...Finally finished all scrap projects and I officially declared I 收工了... Although honestly, not quite really cause I have another wedding commissioned project this sat and I wanna get it done and over with this weekend, so I can really keep my scrapbook table clean and tidy.

Haha, CNY mood is filling me up! Can't wait for a good short break from school and go visiting, collecting ang baos and also get together with friends for gambling and food.

And before that, I am gonna bring my grandmum catch this. I am not quite a fan for chinese movie but for my grandmum, anything is fine. This should be her very first cinema (new generation kind) experience.

And before I go, you MUST check this out!!! wow!!! Shabby blog has changed their blog designs and so much so much more! Oh no! I am spoiled with too many choices now.

First 1 and the half week of school is mentally draining for me.

It is definitely eating into my very own time when I already have practically not much left for myself. Staying late in school is soon becoming a habit and hopefully it will not turn into an addiction. Having to teach 2 subjects now and being a Form for a class is no joke. Felt almost as tired as I ever experienced. Hopefully things get stable soon and much lesser time is needed for all school happenings.

With this, my very first new year resolution is too be more efficient so that I can saved up more time for myself and my loved ones.

On separate note, I am busy wrapping up the once a year spring cleaning in preparation for the CNY. My scrap area is a MUST start first area, more stuff are piling up and it is making me feel very frustrated to see many things lying around.

With these, I am gonna transform it.

Only when packing start, I realised I have these much of heart-shaped albums!!!

And also these, precious gifts from friends are going into the Jumbo DHL box before I get to shift into my new place.

Including long forgotten projects which marked my entry to scrapbooking world got to go into the big yellow box.

So now, I am a happy girl cause it all done up neatly and well organised.

Future projects are going into a nice basket.

*See the lovely making memories new series?? They are going into my wedding projects. All for myself.

With these, I got to embark on my wardrobe and drawers soon.

Beginning of 2011 ...

Now it looks more complete!

I very much wanted to fill up the pages with all the happenings in 2010 in mine new mini, but I knew it going to take me the whole night and is not a very good idea since I had a really tired day and tomorrow may be worst.

First day of school was really hectic, a lot of changes for the students and them being who they are need a lot of preparation before they become less resistant towards it. So all teachers were busy preparing visual aids and doing final classroom set up to give the students a good head start for a brand new year. Plus teaching had started, so teachers are also busy preparing class teaching materials concurrently. First day of school, I am already leaving at 6.30pm, it probably going to be worst for the next couple of weeks cause the first 2 weeks are only building up the anxiety level and normally the escalation and melt down will come in after... Stress stress!

So a very quick summary for my 2010 and what's bring me in 2011

2010

Jan - Started my first SB teaching with AR. Thanks for the great opportunity. Indeed, it was challenging to keep up with datelines and forever generating new ideas and designs. Especially when I don't have much time to browse around for ideas, I am thankful for the inspirations around me which are mine everything. It has been fun teaching them all, they are more like friends now then students. It's a blessing.

June - I left my more than 10years career in the semiconductor business. It had been a very fulfilling one. I met many good bosses who taught me many things not only in work but also in life. They gave me wonderful opportunities to see the world and learn new things. And I made life-long friends along the way. It's another blessing.

June - ACID (Annual Camp for Intellectual Disabilities) camp was a blast. It's not only my very first camp but also one which I participate in organizing it. How can I conclude it, it's amazing and fun for sure. Not only the beneficiaries enjoyed themselves truly but also the volunteers from all others project group. It's again blessing for my good team mates and committee members. We are meeting every other month still. It's nice.

July - Started teaching @ a special ed school. My dream come through. What's more significance in finding a meaning and impacting others through what you do? It's a total new beginning for me in life and no regrets still. The students are my joy. I didn't realise how much passion I have for them until I get closer and closer to them.

Nov - We took our pre-wedding shoot. I am glad how all photos turn out to be . Although we exceeded our budget a little but it was worthy.

Dec - We finally got our very own nest. Best local ever. Right in between my mum's and my in-law's place. It was affordable. What else can we ask for? Keep our finger cross that our budget work well for the reno.

It's blessing all over, right from the heavenly god above.

What a great way to start off the year with drinks, foods and be merry with our loved ones. We officially declare Dempsey as our new handout place in 2011 for breakfast. Haha!

I had survived through another Zutter Mini. Am really inspired by friends around me like Pooi and Yin, so I decided I am making one to document my 2010 also. This is going to go into AR Feb class, keep a lookout for schedules.

I have been scrapping

I know I have not been posting alot of my work lately but I am definitely very much still scrapping. In fact, I had finally completed the wedding commissioned project for a lovely couple, a canvas, bird cage and 2 albums. Unfortunately I am unable to show them here as they prefer privacy.

Did a white artist tray for AR Feb class. Very blue and grey. Painted and misted a lot. No pattern papers at all except for the photo matting and the chipboard cover-up. I am so in love with these Petaloo flowers that I used it in all my projects lately. They are just too romantic, how can I resist! Keep a lookout for AR Feb's schedule.

And I am also scrapping plentiful of basic layouts and kids projects for Scraplicious classes to kick start. I must say they have a lot of others awesome projects created by other fellow teachers, do check their website out for schedules.

Meanwhile, school has just started (deployment) for the teachers. Back to my horrible waking up at 6am nightmare. Wish me luck.

P/S: I am seriously behind reading all my friend's blog! so sorry but none of you have been forgotten. I missed everyone so muchy!

Indeed, I must have "miss" school so much that I cannot live without "schedules" no matter where I go.

So holiday is coming to an end in 1 week time.

AND! I am still struggling with lesson plans and SOW. OMG!

I truly enjoyed Shirin's Christmas Tree class at AR. Thanks AR for giving teachers such good opportunity to learn from one another. The making snowman part was the most fun of all. Aren't my snowy cute? I gave them really rosy cheeks. haha. They are just adorable.

I am giving this Christmas Tree to a very special friend. With 24 gifts, each a day till Christmas to keep her warm and cosy in these very cold lonely nights.

I hope she realised that nothing had changed. Especially with loved ones around, this year Christmas will still be the same and better every new year ahead.

Finally get my hands on the Pink Paislee's Parisian Arthology resist papers! Created a Dollies Manies (Many) Canvas! haha.. I love the dolly one so much, so fun to mist and mist and mist. And the dolly banner inspired by the paper lor. So nice. I like.

And also alcohol ink on acrylic album! Bottles and bottles of them sitting in my drawer for months. Abit too orangy, like CNY. But what the hack, just wrack la. And trembling when stamping on smooth surface, the stamp always move about with the embossing glue. Am so lucky to get it right lor. Also made a little booklet within the album. Used my whole series of pre-wedding shots taken at borders for it.

These will be for AR's Jan class. *wink*

Now I can relax a little and make some christmas tags.

School Holidays means more ME time!

Finally, 10 weeks of school days ended with a blast! It was hardship but for the children, it's all worthy!

Holidays had started for the children but not for the teachers yet. Another 1.5 weeks of deployment before the teachers get to totally disengage.

I already had plans lining up.

1. A massive clean up of my scrapbook areas

2. Complete all undone projects lining on my scrap table.

3. Complete class projects for January and hopefully standby a few for Feb so I don't get stress in time to come.

4. Spend some time with family and Mark. (I must say I neglected them alot over the past half a year and I am feeling really bad about it)

5. Do some catching up with friends. (I miss them a whole lot!)

6. Do some reflection!

It has been a wonderful week!

The whole week was fun filled with lots of activities and I truly enjoyed every single one of them.

Firstly, last sat, I did my pre-wedding shoot. And thanks to many friends who were concerned how the shoot went. Well it was tiring, there were more fun moments than the latter. The weather was fairly good, no rain but scorching hot sun! So I was practically melting beneath my long sleeve gown. Haha, but the shoot went well. We finished earlier than planned. We should be doing our photo selection next week, here some sneaks from the shoot and also our suite at New Majestic Hotel.

It was an inspiring week for me as well. Attended SPED (Special Ed) Learning Day yesterday with many others teachers from the whole nation wide SPED schools. The talks, the people and the performances put up by various students from different SPED schools reminded me the reason for being there in the first place. The desire and fire just grew stronger and I am feeling all energized and prepared for the last week of school now. And also a little special touch to the whole event, I finally get to meet up a dear SB friend, Wirda, whom I knew for very long. It's so nice to see her in real person, she is just so sweet and forever nice. A little gift she made for me for our first meet up. I totally heart her simple and elegant style.

And to end my eventful week, completed a LO using MME Lost and Found for Scraplicious. Same style as the previous one, it suppose to be a set actually.

Yes! Finally! I get to share this good news officially. Today is the grand opening of Scraplicious. I am really grateful to Cheryl and Jessie for this great opportunity to work with them. I will be designing and teaching for them. So excited! Especially knowing Lia will be on the team too! Can't wait to see her in person.

The store is located at B1-53/54 Parkway Parade. I will be there this evening, see you guys around.

Last but not least, how can I don't mention these lovely seam bindings from Lynn! Aren't they beautiful? I can't wait to use all of them up! And thank you Lynn for the little S.E.I raks, I love those papers!

Santa Claus is coming to town ...

It's christmas again! Am really glad I managed to complete this for AR DEC class before my shoot this weekend.

As promised, here you go :) A little christmas can with tags used for gifts. I am intending to bundle up the tag as my christmas album.

I hope you like this one as much as I do. I really love the how the silver plain metal can turn out to be like this. Gold with Pink, a little vintage. Shall put up the material used and steps once the class is completed in AR.

I have to do this more often..

Yin was complaining that I used to blog every other day and then the blogging reduce to every other week and now, she needs to click on my blog link occassionally to check if i had blogged and if she had missed out any. I felt really bad afterwhich.

I am really thankful for everyone leaves kind notes and encouragements for me whenever I posted, especially when I only post once every 2 weeks or longer maybe. These msgs are really important to me and I am really touched.

I promised I will blog more often and keep my creations going. So we all get inspired together :)

Here long overdue "Librian Drawer" I created for AR Nov Class using 7gyp wooden drawer and Crate Restoration series. Used up the whole Chipboard adhesive, Shiok! Unfortunately the size of the drawer will abit weird, otherwise I could have purchase a few to store my embellisments and scrapbook materials. Check out the dates at AR.

And also hot from the oven, finally managed to complete this for AR Dec Class. A floral envelopes album (Every single page is a handmade envelope, stamped and misted) with Pink Paislee's Sweetness.

Hi and Bye ..

I knew I haven't been blogging for close to 2 weeks. I felt pitiful for my unattended blog, heavily neglected by the owner. Sigh. All I can say is I am absolutely drained and I have no idea what I am doing these days.

Is it ok to feel lost at times?

Had been busy catching up with rest and personal time. When I say personal means really personal! Not anything to with SB, Volunteering, School, Families, Friends and my wedding. Totally me, myself and I. Managed to watch 2 sets of DVD dramas! which is really heavenly indulging for me. I missed missed and so missed my DVD marathons. I can't wait for holiday to come where I get to watch more. And I am so glad that it is week 7 and that means 3 more week to go.

Had a steamboat gathering with my ACID Comm members over the weekend! It's always fun to spend time with friends and laugh over many things and talk nonsense. I played Taboo for the very first time and I love it! Now I know why is it so fun! I made some tags for them. Is like a friendship swop now. It all started with Wei Chung making us the mummies with left over strings from ACID and Cheng Yang drawing us a great wall of china customized to individuals. Now my turn to make them these "air tickets" which is not so like one. Haha. But I really liked how they turned out, misting and stamping away.

Attended Megan and Liang Zan's wedding over the weekend as well! Congrats to this lovely couple. They are 1 nice couple I know from Westend.

And these pictures are for my students who attended my class in the day. They had been nagging me and urged me to change to a dress and get my hairdo.. haha.. Ok.. I did blowed my hair at the salon next door but I didn't have time to change to a dress.. but I think I look pretty in these pictures la. We had fun! especially seeing so many of my regular students, it is not like a class anymore, more like a cropping session actually. Thanks girls!

The wedding made me felt alot actually. I don't know what had gotten into me but I left the wedding dinner with this thought

"The truth is ... age is catching up ... and it does matters!"

Looks like I am going to disappear for a while again. Got to finish my Dec's AR classes. Shall post more SB projects pictures the next round.

Changes

I was once told "Changes are the inevitable stability". Changes take place every now and then in life. And at this point of my life, there are just much changes to cope with. I must thank GOD for allowing more than just great changes to take place.

I had started SB teaching in the beginning of the year and I must be thankful for all the love and appreciations showered by my students and SB fellow friends for they don't drop from the sky but come within the hearts. I made plentiful of friends along the way while teaching and I am forever amazed how this artful hobby bring people so closed together. And this ride is taking me way further now, reaching out to more people, I am been given a chance to teach in another place. I am again thankful. So my schedule will soon be "officially" jammed up. Classes both on weekends and weekdays. Finding time to catch up with friends are becoming difficult. And I always want to make an effort to despite how tired I am sometimes. I am adjusting. I believe I will find good resolution to it.

While coping with the new SB teaching schedules, settling down in school really helps. I started to feel a lot "better" now for the early sleeping routines. Just that I am still missing my DVD marathons that truly get me excited. School holidays are coming and I am already making plans to make up for it. DVDs are piling up on my TV console now and the pile shall continue to grow. 5 more weeks and I'll be able sleep with my DVDs day and night. The thought of it bought a grin on my face. haha, this is funny.

On the volunteering front, I am feeling really guilty for not turning up 3 weeks already. Most of the time I am feeling sick and tired and I just want to slack at home. But that's really irresponsible of me cause I am running the sports day programming upcoming in mid October. I am begging myself to feel totally energize again so I can continue this cause volunteering is an important part of my life, to be able to give love is why I am living. So lets do it this sat!

And all about the wedding preparation, it's in a mess! Not that literally it's in a mess but there is definitely a mess going on in my head now. Thank GOD that the gown turn out to be really beautiful (went fitting last night) but the headache part comes in. I bought many shoes and none seems to match the feel I want! Argh! And many many more, I just don't know where to start.

Anyway, I managed to finish my 7gyp drawer using crate paper restoration over the weekend. And I am about to finish my BG Olivia mini album. Will post the photos soon. Will also be updating the SB Nov schedule for AR.

It had never been so hard before

I finally completed the "Jack & Jill" and I must admit I really struggled with it. It was supposed to be a mini album and then I stare at it and didn't know where to continue with.

And so I almost tear the whole thing and throw it into the bin. But since I promised Esther to do something with "Jack & Jill", I shall try my best.

Altered the "Jack & Jill" journal tags box into "Our Wedding Photo Journal" box. Isn't it a brilliant idea to keep a mini album in the box? I am using the tags to document the preparation process of my wedding photo shoot and after which I shall bind them with my zutter :p

So here you go.

It's slowly becoming a weekly affair

Am really lazy about blogging lately. I guess, we all get tired despite that is something we always love to do. And I kinda of understand better what does "sabbatical leave" means now.

It's slowly becoming a weekly affair for me and I wish I can blog more often.

Last week, I celebrated my very first "Children's Day" as a teacher with my students. It simply melted my heart to see them enjoy and smile over class parties and presents and having so much fun. :) I also take this opportunity to make this 2 bookmarks for Ms. Goh's children. She is one greatest lady I know beside my mum. I will pray for her and her families always.

Not much class in Sept cause I really wanted a break badly. Started my very first one for Oct on Sat. Is good to feel re-charged now and get going again. I promised Esther, my HK student, I will come back soon with "Jack and Jill" updates. Stay Tune.

Overdue RWS updates

So sorry, knew I promised a live RWS updates... well... wasn't very enjoyable so didn't bother to. This was what happened:

*It started raining in the morning, although it drizzle in the end, but the rain is making me headache.

*Wasn't enjoying USS at all :( no mood to take any photos also. Gave up! so we decided to go check in

*No early check in even at 2.45pm! damn it! I fall asleep in the lobby while M Q for the check in

*Took tablets and slept till 6, feeling a little better than decide to return to universal studio since we had paid for the tickets, don't waste ma.. got much better and took alot more photos but it was only for a short while cause USS closed at 7pm.

*Had dinner and went for our Voyage show! Waste of $$ also. No compare to Cirque; world class standard man.

*Didn't go casino also cause we reckon we wont be betting.. haha.. so we already lost $200 before we made any bets.

Holiday work for me!

See, I've told you, having a holiday really work for me. Created another scrapbook project just in 2 days compared to my previous one that takes weeks. Am so happy cause this will be one of my most fav piece of work.

Using G45 Steampunk, a little spooky though but overall I like the "butterfly invasion" effect. And I finally get to use my all time fav metal embellishments. This was also be my first time trying the rock candy crack ink ( I know I am damn lag), the effect is damn cool.

A hanging receipt tray, shall keep this for my NOV class at Art Republic. (A little bit "Kiasu" but shall not wait until I run out of inspiration juice, hehe :P)

Can you guess which is my fav corner? Shall prepare a little vintage rak for the correct answer, what do you think? Here you go...

Yay! Is finally school holiday!

I am so looking forward to this day since I begin school... haha... So exhausted and finally get to rest a little. Although is for 1 short week with 2 days going back to the school, I am still happy that I get to rest and relax a bit. And a short break definitely work for me. Only the beginning of it, I already found inspiration to scrap! Finished a project within 1 saturday morning. Am so happy, have not felt like this for the longest time. Am sure satisfied with this new piece of work I created this from scratch, using 6 pcs of chipboards only, 1 patterned paper! Did misting all over white card stocks and see what I created!

And also... I am finally working on my wedding plan! We still wanted to do it slow and steadily... so we don't have a date yet. But we had fixed our wedding photographer and the photo shoot date will be in nov. Met my tailor and took measurements. Something simple yet stylish! Don't intend to have any wedding dinner so this is just perfect for a day solemnization. Am intending to document this whole process. Do check out my wedding blog :P

It had really been ages I last make an layout!

How can I resist the beautiful papers from MME! I totally heart the Lost and Found series! and I think I am gonna make another mini album out of it. Just so paris like and romantic lor... and recently I am crazy about Paris and the Eiffel tower. Such a dreamy and romantic feel. And I added Tattered Angle Glimmer Glam on the border! Blink Blink*

And I got a damn good buy from "Cotton On" today. $7.50 for a pair of pumps! And I added my handmade fabric flowers on it. Now it look one-and-only.

Can't wait to work on more scrap projects on this coming school holiday! Yeah! Is teacher's day. Happy Teacher Day to everyone. I always believe we are teachers to everyone and we learn many valuable things from each others.

It was a super lousy week but it's all over now...

It was really terrible. May it be physically or emotionally, I was close to snapping it. What can be more worst! Sick body with 2 devastating news cum scrapbook lessons all over the weekend! Life is just too "beautiful" and forever "satisfying" for me.

I am glad that everything are more settled now.

Mark's dad had discharged yesterday and only re-admitting next week for the tumor removal op.

Best friend finally opened up himself and poured out all his sorrows. Visited the couple on Sunday's night, the baby was delivered. I finally broke down and let go all my sadness and emotions upon that beautiful face. She look just like mummy and daddy, very long body. She probably grow up to be tall and slender, I thought. I set my hand on that small little body and I told her how sweet and obedient she is. I told her how god-mum dotes on her, now she is leaving this world, I wish her all the best. It was the worst moment I ever gone through yet. I was glad that I am there. A finished line was drawn.

Although weekend was really hectic and tiring, I managed to still squeeze in a good session of Bocce training for the trainees.

And also, a ACID10 BBQ outing on Sat's night! The BBQ didn't exactly started cause the guys only managed to start the fire at 10pm. And by 10.30pm, we need to move out of the place! Ha ha :D this is so funny. I didn't really care despite that we will all hungry and munching on chips only cause we are happily chatting and running around for that good few hours. We shifted all the food to Benson's place and continue our "BBQ" part 2. We ended around 2am, not feeling tired at all cause it was a good period of time for me to distress and forget all the unhappy things for a while.

So all in all, everything is moving on. I can't wait for school holidays to come. I need a solid recharge.

I am terribly sick on my birthday and yet to recover my tired body.

I received news on the following day that Mark's dad admitted hospital with suspect colon cancer.

And then the next following day, which is yesterday, I received news that a best friend's 38weeks due to deliver baby passed away with absence of heartbeats.

I am feeling damn weak now. And I have so much on hands to do. PSLE, classes tonight and tomorrow morning, running a afternoon session of sepcial olympics... I don't know where to rest my heart now...

Thank you all for your birthday wishes, may it be on Facebook, Blog, SMS, MMS, Calls... I am truly overwhelmed with all the love. Am really happy today despite I am actually so sick that I need to take time off from school and return home to rest.

Although it was like any usual birthday celebration I had but this year extremely happy in the heart. Don't know why but my heart is smiling every moment with those pleasant surprises. Mum even took a half day leave just to supervise her "kitchen" (Haha, see the photos and you will know why).

I'm gonna have a good night sleep tonight among these sweets with my name engraved on it! Aren't they sweet! These passion fruit favor rock candies taste even more lovelier than they can look. Thanks Yin for all these heavenly made sweeties, they are my very first birthday present and probably my only one. I definitely in need of them now especially when I am all messed up, stressed and confused. I wonder when I am going to finish them. I am so gonna share them with my students and friends.

It had been a while ever since I watched a musical play at esplanade. The last one was a brazilian orchestra performance at Jubilee hall with PS.

I must say this is one of the best I had watched beside "Forbidden City" that was put up for the Esplanade's grand opening in year 2003.

How can I missed this year rain season? I missed it in 1996 and I truly regretted it. Thank god, a re-run in celebration of Toy Factory's 20th year anniversary. Got my tickets as early as 3 months ago.

I totally love it. Thanks PS who accompanied me for this wonderful evening. This is a birthday treat for myself and I am definitely enjoying it.

Life is so beautiful for, us being humans are given the ability to give. To be able to give means we are being empowered with all and this is such a precious gift from heaven above.

I watched "Ocean Heaven" with my voluntary mates on saturday. For that very moment, in the midst of everything and all wonders beneath the heaven above, I knew I want to delicate my life to the intellectual disabilities. And this is right in my heart and in my soul, for this is my calling in life.

That wish, top of my birthday wish list this year. Not that it's far more important than family which I truly cherish but it's something I knew my family and my loves ones want me to do. It extraordinary meaningful for me this year for I am embarking the next half of my years on earth. This is what I want to remember for life - Life is beautiful cause I am gifted to "give".

* A super long weekend celebrating Singapore's 45th birthday!

* 1 whole day of shopping today at Raffles city, Suntec and Marina Sq. (Must say thanks to Somp for accompanying me)

* 1 good hr of facial treatment and 1 good hr of hot stone massage at Face Tart, a newly open organic facial treatment store located at newly renovated B2 of Raffles City

* Totally immersed in the very nice setting, enjoying nice Italian food. Check them out. Mad for Garlic at Suntec.

And many many more tomorrow and over the long weekend.

Before I go, how can I forget to share this most wonderful gift I ever receive from her. Like it is always written, "Without her, this journey will never be the same again".

And I did some changes to the dirty vintage note I had given her, hope she like it.

A very nice weekend for me...

Am very happy this weekend cause

* I spent time with my ex-collg and had so much fun like same old times. It was farewell celebration for WS. I miss everyone so much. I spent time with PS, talking to her and listening to her. She was super happy receiving the spongebob which the guys attempted to clean the steamboat wok with..

* I watched Inception with some WE's friends. Was a nice movie despite the sucky outing planning by K. Whahaha.

* I had my class at AR and packed the 20+ over BG packs for the Aug's baggage delight class. And also finally took the pic for my 7gyp tray for Sept's class.

* Met Daddy for dinner at Ling Zhi Veg. Although food was so-so but that's not very important cause catching up with Daddy was one MUST do thing which I had delayed for months and months and I feel extremely sorry cause I really miss Daddy and Daddy really miss me too. Am sure gonna make it a habit to meet him more often.

Weekend am really good for me. Nothing beats spending time with love ones. How's your weekend?

Gadget month...

Finally bought a brand new photo printer! Have always wanted to get one. The current one I had was the very first canon Selphy model and now the photo papers cartridges is going end of life... so difficult to get them. Plus I hated so much that I need to adjust the exposure every single photo before I get to print them.. so I no longer need to tolerate this.. haha..

And also, me and mum got a uSoffa for my grandmum.. (actually I can benefit from it too *evil smile). Can't wait for delivery next thursday.

And of course I can't wait to see my old friends tomorrow. Alot of catch up to be done and Sponge bod for PS! I made this during my school charity drive last last sat.

Am terribly sorry for the fact that I am definitely neglecting my blog. Partly because I am short of time to finish a proper scrapbook project to show and a BIG mainly because I just didn't have enough time to even blog. Sigh!

School life is really hectic for me. A new task will be loaded every moment I start to adapt to it. First was the struggle of early hours, Second was the struggle of school routines, Third was the lesson preparations and now come the additional activities that I am involve with. But well well... what can I say! I am still very much enjoying very moment of school! Just that I need to adapt adapt and adapt. Learn as fast as I could, prepare as much lesson materials as I need and get inspire still every moment I spent in school.

On the scrapbook front, I am struggling with the many classes being allocated to me at AR. I am really grateful that I have very understanding bosses and students. And sincerely glad that they like my class projects and sign up for them. I am trying to create as much new stuff to share. Hope they continue like my work.

Finally done with the 7gyp tray for sept class. Didn't get the chance to snap a photo of it before it gets to sit in AR. Promise to do so by this sun so I can post it here. It had been a long time I do something vintage, brown, black and red. Am loving the whole color scheme again. And also creating a magical heart shape album using Shabby Green Door - On the wings of a dream collection. I am already loving the name! Not to mention the whole design is just magical. Here a little sneak. Hopefully, I get to finish by this weekend.

Did Y something for our 1st year friendship anniversary! Haha.. sound abit kinky.. but I like to celebrate this occasion with her cause a year ago, we made friends through MWL design team call and we become really good friends after that! It's so hard to come by and I thank GOD for I had found her. She is someone very important to me and we sure have alot to share. Finally get to meet her today and what the XXX I forgot to bring this little gift for her.

But luckily I had something else bought long ago, sitting on my desk in school, so at least I gave her something today. Hopefully it cheers her up a little also from naughty K.

Spoke to her alot about K today and I really hope the conversation release her abit from the tension and stress. I want her to enjoy parenthood and so does K to enjoy his childhood. Anyway, Y, when you read this, remember what I told u ok? Love ya and take care. Can't wait to see her again.

And last but not least, I have so much more lined up for me this week.

- Farewell for WS and meeting my old gang for a chill out night

I only realized...

It was a mid week struggle. Can't help but I am on a little downside with complicated feelings. I only realized not everyone has the heart for them. And it was not so nice a realization for me.

I repetitively remind myself the reasons why I am into special ed. and so to keep on fighting for it.

* I am try to over compensate them for they are often being misunderstood.

* I want to see them enjoying life and feel happy just like anyone of us would.

* I wish they can learn to self-control and behave so that they will not be regards as "different" or "weird" or "mad" by the society.

* Is a bonus if they can learn to be independent and earn a simple living for themselves.

* I want to set an example of inclusion to the society by doing it.

* I want to fight with them the happiness and normal life they deserve.

* I want to learn how to help them.

Is just the beginning... I am giving myself more time to conclude what I seen and learn. No time to be waste and I am eager to make all these visions I had to happen.

Sideline along scrapping, these are what I am struggling to complete.

It's going to be a marathon..

1.5 weeks of trainings at school finally came to an end. Tomorrow we are "officially" teaching in all our assigned classes. Although I had very much started to blend into my supporting class - Edison, but I have not start any formal teaching to my maths class - Einstein. I am feeling really nervous about it as I am totally new in teaching. Despite many years of sales presentations in front of many pple, it is still not quite the same when it comes to teaching. I hope I am empowered with all the courage and wisdom to cope with this upcoming new change. I want to humble myself and take every new steps as part of learning. It's going to be a marathon and I want to slow myself down and give myself ample time to absorb all new things that are happening. I am going to enjoy this journey and make it a really remarkable one for myself.

On the scrapbook front, I have not do much cause I yet to fix up my new printer for photo printing. Hopefully I get it install this week and stock up some photo papers. So much so much to do but just didn't feel like doing any. So before I go, can only share this little sneak of my very first Zutter Minis! Finally made 1 for my dear dear ACID Comm photos after admiring Pooi's and Aida's for so long. Not sure if I can really made it but shall try ya.

Day 4 in school

Attended Fundamentals of ASD today conducted by ARC. It was really informative and I wish the training could be more in depth. I am just so eager to learn more about ASD. So I get to help the ASD students and my trainees in a more proper manner. Something which I bring back from the training today.

10 things every child with autism wishes you know: 1) My autism is only 1 aspect of my total character. It does not define me as a person. Neither you nor I yet to know I may be capable of. And if I get a sense that you don't think I "can do it", my natural response will be, "why try?"

Day 1 at school...

Today was my very first day in school. A total of 1.5 weeks of induction training before we are being posted to our various classes.

Just a short day itself, I am already totally in awe with the visions and missions of the school. Not to mention how amazing the new school structure is with all the built in new facilities to facilitate the inclusion of our students. I am totally inspired and convicted to the school and my student.

Something I learnt and gathered today which I love to share before I charged up over the weekend for school next week.

"When you understand the WHY, you will know the HOW"

"Since the world is not ready for us, we will bring the school and the students to the world"

"If the school had taught them well, they would have a better fighting chance in their life"

I really miss her

It had been almost a month or even longer that I didn't get to meet up with Yin. She is just terribly busy with work and family and she even gets stressed up for too many photos piling up on her scrapbook desk and not being able to find time and inspiration to do anything about it. Poor little girl. You must see her scratched her head and that angry look when she talked about work. I don't know whether to laugh or to frown at her for being so tied up. All I can do was to force her meet up with me and enjoy a cup of coffee and really let go for at least that 1 hr. This is the least I wanted to do for her just like how she managed to distress me when I used to feel low.

I am glad that she did and is so good to see her smile again. I probably have not mention it before, she got 1 of the nicest and wide smile. She look really lovely when she does that. I made her a little something and hope it brighten up her day. And we did a little shopping. I realized we are about the same with SHOES! we just like those special colored ones. I am so going to get this dirty yellow shoe which she wore today.

Nice meeting Yin and we are definitely meeting more often in the future since my school is so near to her workplace.

A day in JB

Mum was on leave today and the family planned a day trip to JB since Grandma has always wanted to go visit. Took some really nice photos and not often we managed to get such precious moments captured. Am going to cherish them lots and going to make an mini album for it.

I officially declared I am 25 now!

ACID10 camp is so so so fun! I couldn't describe any further how fun it was! And I am feeling totally youthful now! This is my first camp ever in my 30yrs.. I am definately joining next year comm. Kudos to all my Station Masters from PJC, NUS, NTU and to all the HCI boys! I am coming back to post more photos and story for the camp.

Meanwhile, let me finished off with all the happenings for the last few days.
Did a hanging canvas for my boss's daughter. He requested something purplish and I realised I dont have much purple stuff, is a colour I seldom work with. But I am glad how it turn out. :)

And I started making some small gifts for my collgs as a token of appreciation. Another few more to go and I am ready to give them this coming friday which is my last day at work.

I also got my MAC 2 days ago! All I can say is I am struggling with it.. haha.. But I think I am going to enjoy it more when I get use to the different, different command and applications.

Last but not least, I have to mentioned over and over again. Cause my collgs are all just so lovable. Aunty ginger made me some strawberry shortcakes today! Aren't they lovely. I am really touched and thankful that I meet them in my life! Thank you aunty ginger. Visit her blog here.

A series of farewell celebrations

Am finally leaving this big family after spending 4yrs of time together. A bunch of fun loving and caring collgs whom I adore. They have been my supporting pillars for these years and everyday spent at work are forever joyous and secured. Thank you them for the farewell lunch and also the upcoming farewell event lined up for me for the next 2 weeks. I am so looking forward to all the final get together.

I am definately planning some handmade gifts for these loveable collgs :)

A brand new ME

First of all, thank you all for all the well wishes and encouragements for the past few weeks and for some closer ones, for the past few months. I'm feeling more excited with the new changes that are taking place in my life. I'm totally feeling a brand new ME and this is such a great and precious feeling. You know, when we grow older and start to age, we might have forgotten the young, vibrant, energetic and refreshing feelings. And I didn't realise it until I feel it again now.

I remember those days when I was in school, we party all nights, taking up part-time jobs and still feeling good and fun every other brand new day. Those were the days when we practically do not need to sleep. And it's fun, fun, fun! We can even shop our way from Orchard Rd to Raffles city. Yes, shop along the orchard rd and all the way to raffles city. Back then we really trained our leg muscles. haha.

But now, after an hr walking through the ION mall, I feel backaches and tired legs. Sulk :( Age is really catching up. I can't imagine after I have baby and lose much calcium, I think I will feel even worst. I am pretty homely now and I really enjoy moments where I get to slack at home and just watch DVD, whole day long, lying on my bed.

It had been a while and I am feeling it all over again. With me quitting my 10yrs career to join the special education school, giving up my 6yrs driving experience and back to taking public transport and taking up part-time job (scrapbook teaching)... it's tough, no $$, no shopping, no high life but I am not feeling a little bit tired and regretful at all! I am having the luxury now to watch DVD overnight and still feeling fresh and joyous the next day at work. I was telling my collg, I am walking and jumping with joy every single moment now! I feel so good not having the "stress" and "pressure" anymore, just like how I feel when I am a youth.

This moment is really precious to me. Because this is the life I want to lead. Not going after the high life and worrying about losing my job and no $$ paying my car loan and bills, not working "blindly" just for the sake of $$... I want my life journey to be a unforgettable one, doing things that I really like and benefit others... Life can be a little tougher but will be a whole lot more happier...

So sorry that I am so emotional with the post! Thanks for reading and dropping by. I just want to share my happiness with everyone out there.

Praise the Lord for he has this purpose for me in life. He has sheds light in my life and I have achieve eternity with his love! A gift from heavenly Father above...which is JOY. Amen!

Oh no. I am poisoned! I am just so addicted to watching Taiwan dramas now and I am going bongus for not being able to catch one. Am I crazy or nuts.

I am catching this now, it's still showing over at taiwan. So I only get to watch weekly when it gets uploaded in You Tube. Sob Sob :( The feeling is killing me....

I wish every sunday come faster now.

Was sleeping the whole of today. Yawn.. so tired..

Watched "Sex in the City 2" on friday night. Damn funny! Haha. How I wish I am like Carrie, a writer who gets to write about r/s, love and marriage. Most importantly, she gets to wear designer shoes and dresses and have lots of handsome charming mans revolving around her. What a beautiful dream.

Whipped up this is memo board before going Mark's brother wedding on sat. Made this from scratch. Got the wooden board from Art Friend and uses cotton, floral fabric and ribbons. Is not so difficult afterall, was cracking my brain and worry if I can make 1 for AR class in July. Thank God, manage to get this all done up with various handmade flowers.

Is it too floral? My mum said it's not nice at all :( So sad.. Mark said it's very girly... hmmm... What do you think?

Crazy crowds, lousy sales...

Went for a short GSS shopping today at Orchard. Seriously the sales wasn't fantastic and the crowds were horrible. Didn't buy anything at all, should have slack at home and watch TV.

Did these BG-Origins LO in the morning. I must admit it was a challenge when the colours are very dull and earthy. Creating this for AR Layout class. AR didn't have LO classes at the moment so SY wanted to try putting up one and see if it's well received. I still have a stack of BG-Kioshi to work with. Hopefully I get it done by this sunday.

June will be another busy busy month for me. My Canvas Album classes are fully filled up and AR is opening up another batch and squeezing them in June. Thank You Thank You all who had signed up for it. We will definately have lots of fun with ink and spraying water. Haha. So apart the wedding special- 2nd batch of class, I will have 3 batches of Canvas Album class in this month. And looks like both wedding and canvas class may extend to July. Beside the layout classes, am planning to make a memo board class also. Not so sure how is going to look like, am still experimenting and exploring. Will have lots of handmade flowers techniques to share. Hopefully it gets to roll out in July also.

So much so from me. What's your plan for the long weekend? Tomorrow is Mark's brother's wedding, is going to be a busy day for us tomorrow.

Yesterday I said "Goodbye" to my 6 yrs nissan baby. Although it is never my dream car nor am I crazily in love with it but after 6 yrs spending every journey together, the feeling was emotional and sentimental. I will miss it as I embark my new journey.

I had been hoarding on to this series of papers for the longest. And finally I am inspired to use it for my Best Friend's Wedding photos. We seldom have chances to take much photos cause LP is extremely camera shy and she complains much about her 'S' shape fringe. haha. Yeah! Girl Power. Must document these precious photos.

Was on leave last thursday and friday. Super shiok! Basically I just stone at home. haha

Whipped up a birthday meal for Mark on Thursday and had a mini celebration with Veggie and Nicole. I bet he is damn happy lor.

Cod Fish with Lemon and parsley. Bacon with golden mushroom and asparagus. Potato, ham and egg salad. Brocoli with mushroom.

He got more and more wrinkles on his face. A year older and hope he get wiser.

Wine and Dine...

Was at PS's little attic last night enjoying some sweet dessert wine she had prepared for us... Am glad that Cedra came along, have not meet her since she left the co. and we used to be crazy working buddies. Really missed those days when we worked till wee hours and over weekends... basically we work hard and had lot of fun as well. We packed food to eat in the office, wine and dine at Dempsy after work... Cedra is really happy-going and a fun lady to hang out with. Not to mentioned the forever demure PS. We had alot of heart to heart talks last nights, sharing about work, R/S, strange and fun experiences at gay's bar, strip club...whahaha.. The Attic was way too cool, was windy last night as well, we will all in shorts and flip flops. Unfortunately the ladies are camera shy.. so I only got these to share.

Am so looking forward to the next session. And probably, we will do up the attic together the next round. We are planning to light it up with high brightness LEDs, paint the wall and get some plants....

Shall share more when we get there.

Before I go, "Happy Birthday Kaylen". Hope he likes the mystery gift I got him and the LO I whipped up last night.

Alot of catching up to be done...

Am still coughing and sniffing away and occasionally feeling feverish at night... Body is fighting against the virus very hard, hopefully I get to recover soon and be back on track to do many more catch up. Am really grateful and touched with all the well wishes... Suddenly I missed everyone so much :(

Am trying to read all the blogs that I am following... I missed everyone post, is like my daily bread. Knowing how each and everyone of your out there are doing? Able to share with all of your joy and happiness. Continue to be in Awe with all the amazing works that you guys had whipped up... So I am leaving my long overdue love and comments, do check them out ok. Love all of you out there.

Also getting all the long overdue photos uploaded. Can't wait to share all the precious moments I had with you. My office start to have this stupid firewall thingy.. and I am not able to upload many photos at 1 shot, so I am doing 1 by 1... These are photos are from my best friend; BL's wedding. So our little "whipped potato" finally married her "coca" prince. Haha... Wishing them all the best.

P/S: I love the long black dress I bought for the wedding dinner... make me look slim. But maybe I am quite sick already so I lost some weight lately.

I also missed scrapping!!! I can't wait to scrap soon. Since I am on leave tomorrow and Friday, maybe I get to scrap some stuff for Kay's Birthday and my BF's Birthday.

Tomorrow is Mark's 31st birthday, am planning to whip up a sumptuous dinner for him. Got Aunty Ginger to bake a cheesecake for him and I got him his favourite borders's book voucher. Hope he will enjoy the little celebration I have in plan for him :P
